Jeff very much enjoys helping people achieve something they didn’t think was possible. In the mortgage profession that is often helping someone get into a home they didn’t think was possible. He’s been doing this for over 22 years. He has degrees in both Economics and Business. Something Jeff would do even if he didn’t get paid, would be to teach a class on economics or business.
As the President of Paragon Home Loans, Jeff has the good fortune of assembling a team of people that are as passionate as he is about helping people achieve the dream of homeownership. Being surrounded by likeminded people, who share the same purpose makes coming to work fun. When Jeff isn’t at work he enjoys watching his children achieve new things and develop into wonderful young adults. Jeff is surprisingly good at cooking. It’s a way for him to express his creativity in a way that he can’t in the business world. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that he likes good food.
With Jeff it’s not just about buying the house. It’s about setting people out on a path to succeed financially. He gives people information and advice. Jeff is not trying to sell them anything. He believes that when you are honest and sincere, people notice. The biggest proof that Jeff is good at what he does is when clients come back to him over and over again. They also send their friends to him.
In today’s world, the secondary mortgage market controls all the rules for making mortgages. They want everything tied up in a neat little box. Unfortunately, in today’s world of the gig economy and online money transfer, people’s finances often do not fit into that neat little box. This is where Jeff helps present the client’s financial picture in a way that meets secondary market guidelines. He helps people put their best foot forward in the lending process. Jeff’s favorite clients are motivated. They are people that are excited to get into their new home. Those are the people he enjoys working with.
